	3Xplorer is the mobile client, which is used to browse the Internet web site via mobile. Besides the features as 3Xplorer, 3Xplorer 2.0 provide addition new feature, video streaming. You may view the online video on handset via 3Xplorer 2.0

2.	What is the service charge of 3Xplorer 2.0?
	The monthly service charge of 3Xplorer & 3Xplorer 2.0 is $30 with unlimited accessing Internet service via the 3Xplorer 2.0 client of your X-Series Handset. For video streaming feature, additional $10 monthly charge is required . No extra data charge will be incurred.

3.	How to subscribe 3Xplorer 2.0?
	You can subscribe the service via 3Grid > 3Xplorer and download the related client by using a compatible X-Series handset. After completed the download, you can start the Internet browsing by opening the application saved in the handset menu > application. Meanwhile if you use the native handset browser to browsing Internet, wireless data charged will be incurred subsequently.

4.	How to unsubscribe the service of 3Xploer or 3Xplorer 2.0?
	Subscribers who are using 3Xplorer You can unsubscribe the 3Xplorer service via 3Grid > portal. Subscribers who are using 3xplorer 2.0 and has subscribed the online video streaming function You can unsubscribe the “3Xplorer” and “online video feature” service via 3Grid > portal. Subscribers who are using 3xplorer 2.0 and has subscribed the online video streaming function but only want to unsubscribe the online video function You can unsubscribe the “online video feature” service via 3Grid > portal.

5.	Is there any extra charge for downloading the 3Xplorer or 3Xplorer 2.0 client to the handset?
	No extra data charge will be incurred for downloading the 3Xplorer or 3Xplorer 2.0 client to your handset

6.	Where will the 3Xporer or 3Xplorer 2.0 client software be saved in the handset?
	It depends on handset model: For LG – the client will be saved at “Application” > “My Stuff” For Nokia – the client will be saved at “My Own” For Sony Ericsson – you can save the client either select “Game” or “Application” in handset.

7.	Can I continue access to 3Xplorer or 3Xplorer 2.0 service while roaming?
	Yes, you can (applicable to 3G network) but roaming data usage will be charged while using 3Xplorer or 3Xplorer 2.0.

8.	Why 3Xolorer 2.0 cannot view Yahoo video?
	Currently, 3Xplorer 2.0 is supported to make the video streaming from the sites of www.youtube.com and www.youtube.com.hk, for the other video sites, intensive testing is now undergoing while we will extend the service gradually in the coming future!

9.	Can I set my own default homepage address?
	Yes, you can default your homepage address anytime. Just simply go to [Menu] > [6.Tools] > [3. Settings], insert the web address, then press [Save change]. Or you can select [Reset Default], our default homepage is 3Xplorer.

10.	Can I save my desired web addresses to [Favorites]?
	Yes, you can save any web page as your [Favorites]. Simply go to [Menu] > [4. Favorites] & then select [Add to Favorites] in current page.

11.	If I have subscribed 3Xplorer service but I would like to upgrade the version to 3Xplorer 2.0 then what can I do?
	First of all, download the new client and accept to replace the existing one in your handset. Make sure your handset is compatible with the service, for details, please check via 3Grid>>X-Series> 3Xplorer > Supporting handset & FAQ Secondly, you need to subscribe to “online video feature” first, it costs $10 monthly but the free trial offer will be honored until 31 December 2007. Lastly, locate the downloaded 3Xplorer 2.0 in your handset’s folder and open it, you can see the new layout and view the online video right after!

	3Xplorer is an Internet browsing tool for mobile phones. Similar to the Internet Browser on your PC, it allows you to browse the Internet via your X-Series mobile phone. 2.	What is the service charge of 3Xplorer?
	The service charge of 3Xplorer is $30 per month with unlimited internet access. All you need to do is download the 3Xplorer client to your X-series handset, and no extra data charge will be incurred.

3.	How to subscribe for the 3Xplorer service?
	To use the 3Xplorer service, please visit 3Grid > X-Series > 3Xplorer, and download the 3Xplorer client to a compatible X-Series handset.

4.	How to unsubscribe from the 3Xplorer service?
	You can unsubscribe from the 3Xplorer service via 3Grid > M-sites.

5.	Which handsets support the download of the 3Xplorer client?

6.	Is there any extra data charge for downloading the 3Xplorer client to my handset?
	No extra data charge will be incurred when you download the 3Xplorer client to your handset.

7.	What is the size of the 3Xplorer client software?
	The size of the whole 3Xplorer client software is around 230KB

8.	Where will the 3Xplorer client software be saved in my handset?
	It depends on the individual handset models: LG: Menu > My applications Nokia: Menu > Applications Sony Ericsson > Game > Applications Motorola > Applications

9.	Can I continue my access to the 3Xplorer service while roaming?
	If you have already downloaded the 3Xplorer client to a compatible handset, you can access the 3Xplorer service in any 3G roaming data supporting country. You will be charged according to our roaming data tariffs.

10.	Which countries allow roaming access to 3Xplorer?
	You can access the 3Xplorer service in any 3G roaming data supporting country. For the roaming coverage and tariffs, please visit www.three.com.hk and follow the steps below: 1. Select 3G > Explore 3 > Roaming > Roaming charges 2. Select the region (e.g. Africa) and country (e.g. South Africa) 3. Press [Search] If the country supports 3G roaming data service, the tariff will be shown.

11.	How will I be charged if I access the 3Xplorer service while roaming?
	If you access the 3Xplorer service while roaming, you will be charged according to our roaming data tariffs.

12.	Why can't I download images/ ring-tones/ videos/stream media files from the Internet through 3Xplorer when I can do this with my PC.
	3Xplorer is mainly for browsing and does not support downloading and streaming.

13.	Can I set my own default homepage address?
	Yes, you can set any website as your default homepage anytime. Simply go to [Option] > [6.Tools] > [3. Settings], insert the web address at "Homepage", and then press [Save change]. Or you can select [Reset Default] to revert to our default homepage, which is www.three.com.hk.

14.	Can I save my desired web addresses to [Favorites]?
	Yes, you can save any desired web addresses to your [Favorites]. Simply go to [Option] > [4. Favorites] and then select [Add to Favorites] while browsing the page.

15.	What are the functions of [Image Option], [Image Quality], [Activate Option] and [Auto-switch] under [Choose] > [6. Tools] > [3. Settings]?
	[Image Option] There are three options: [Closed], [Manual Display] and [Opened] - [Closed] Images will be closed, to improve the speed of browsing - [Manual Display] Images will be closed, but you can manually choose to display an image by selecting [Display Image] - [Opened] All images will be opened when the page is displayed [Image Quality] There are three options: [Low], [Medium] and [High] - [Low] The displayed image resolution will be low, but the speed of browsing will be higher - [High] The displayed image resolution will be high [Activate Option] Choose the first page after activating 3Xplorer [Auto-switch] [Auto-switch] allows you to jump to the main content or the login position when browsing some defaults web pages.

16.	What is the function of [4. Shortcut] under [Select] > [6. Tools]?
	[Shortcut] provides quick access to functions, such as "Press 2 to Go to Home" and "Press 1 to Add Favorites".

17.	What is the function of [5. Mobile Data] under [Select] > [6. Tools]?
	In [Mobile Data], you can enquire the total number of pages browsed and their total volume.


18.	What are the functions of [Image Size], [Display Image] and [Enter Full Screen] under [Select] > [5. View]?
	[Image Size] This enables you to reduce or enlarge the image. Enlarging the image size may improve its readability, and reducing the image size may help you view the browsed page better. [Display Image] When you cannot view an image, or you have set [Manual Display] in [Image Option], you can choose [Display Image]on the image to display it. [Enter Full Screen] This allows the browser to enter the full screen mode and hide the control menu items, to provide more space for page display.


19.	What is the function of [Select] > [3. Record]?
	In [Record] you can view the record of pages browsed, and select an address to go to.


20.	Does 3Xplorer support online securities trading or online banking services?
	Not supported at present.


21.	Does 3Xplorer support online betting?
	Not supported at present.


22.	Does 3Xplorer support online games?
	Not supported at present.


23.	Can I check email on the Internet (e.g. Yahoo!, Windows Live Messenger) through 3Xplorer?
	Yes. You can even use the [Email] menu item in 3Xplorer to go to the login web page directly. In [Tools], select [Favorites], then select your required mailbox in [Email] and then press [Enter]. Then you can directly access the login page for the chosen mail box.

24.	Does 3Xplorer support the use of others' shared PC folders?
	Not supported at present.


25.	Does 3Xplorer support the download of images/ ring-tones /video /stream media files ?
	Not supported at present.

	3g mail is an ingenious service, which enables you to check and handle email while you are on the move. 1. 1GB of free email storage.2. Automatically set up the email profile at your handset.3. Access up to five external email accounts through your handset via "POP3 pull".

3.	How to subscribe to and set up 3g mail?
	You can subscribe to 3g mail at three.com.hk/xseries > applications >3g mail. Steps:Choose "Subscribe and set up now" on the 3g mail web page, and then set up your own 3g mail account: - The email address should be xxxxxx@"3g mail".com.hk - You will enter the default page of 3g mail upon successful account subscription. There, you can select your handset (model?), and upgrade your handset setting via OTA (over-the-air) for free. (The 3g mail automatic handset setup service is absolutely free of charge).

4.	What is the maximum storage of 3g mail?
	The maximum storage of 3g mail is 3GB, including 1GB of free storage. You can expand your storage to 3GB at $18 per month.

5.	Which handset models support 3g mail service?

6.	How long do I need to wait to use the 3g mail service after subscription?
	You can use the 3g mail service immediately after subscription.

7.	As a 3email subscriber, can I use the 3g mail service concurrently?
	1. (non-LG handset user) Yes. Simply change the default setting as 3g mail or 3email by changing the "Default Setting" option in the "Email Setting" of your handset. 2. (LG handset user)The OTA (over-the-air) setting of 3g mail will override the 3email setting. Therefore, we do not recommend that you use the two services together. Please consider switching to 3g mail instantly to enjoy the benefits of non-GPRS charging.

8.	If I'm at a local area outside the 3G data service coverage, can I receive/send email or change the OTA setting?
	Yes, you can use the 3g mail service as usual.

9.	In addition to handsets, can I access the 3g mail service through the Internet?
	Yes.

10.	Can I access and handle my external email accounts through 3g mail?
	Yes. Once you've registered your external email accounts at 3g mail, you can handle the email of these accounts with your 3G handset.You can register up to 5 external email accounts to enjoy the ease of checking and sending email from different accounts while on the move. Since there are different access control systems, please consult your email service provider if access is denied.

11.	Will I be notified upon receipt of a new email?
	You will receive an SMS alert when you receive a new email. Setup procedures: Please choose [SMS Alert Setting] at www.three.com.hk/xseries > feature application > 3g mail.

12.	If I handle email using my handset through 3g mail while roaming, how will I be charged?
	Incoming email: roaming GPRS charge Outgoing email: roaming GPRS charge + $0.2 per outgoing email

13.	How will I be charged for receiving an "Email Alert SMS" on my handset through 3g mail while roaming?
	Roaming SMS charge.

14.	Will the data volume and charge be calculated proportionately if I subscribe for/ unsubscribe from the 3GB upgrade plan?
	No.

15.	Will I be able to receive any new email if my storage has reached 1GB / 3GB?
	You won't receive any new email as you are running out of storage. We strongly advise that you remove unwanted email from your mailbox to make room for new ones.

16.	My storage has reached 3GB; can I subscribe for another 3GB upgrade plan to expand my storage capacity to 6GB?
	No, this service option is not available at present.

17.	If I unsubscribe from the 3GB upgrade plan, will the 3GB of stored email be deleted from my mailbox?
	We won't delete your email, but you will not receive any new email until your storage is reduced to less than 1GB.

18.	Why is there no response when the "3g mail Setting" function is selected at the webmail page?
	The webmail page of 3g mail includes the cookies which will put into your PC while selecting the "3g mail Setting" function. Hence the privacy rule of that page should be set to "Always Accept cookie from this site".

1.	I have already downloaded the setting to my LG handset, why can't I send or receive email?
	If you are using an LG handset, you have to complete an authentication process on your handset in order to activate your 3g mail service, otherwise you cannot send any email via your handset. Please follow these steps to complete the authentication process: (Press Menu > Messages > Settings > Email > 3 Email > Options > Edit > Auth > Select "On" at Outgoing Mail Server Authentication) You can find out about the authentication processes of different LG handsets under the OTA section. For users of Nokia 6288 and 6280, please input the email configurations as stated in your manuals. Please check the OTA section on the website for details.

2.	Is there any limit on the size of each incoming email?
	It depends on your handset model – 1MB or below is recommended for each email. For webmail, the limit for each email is 10MB.

3.	Will I be able to read email written in foreign languages, such as Japanese and Korean?
	It depends on your handset model. For webmail, it depends on the browser you are using.

4.	What email attachment formats does 3g mail support?
	Image: JPG, PNG,GIF, BMP Audio: WMA, WAV, AMR, MIDI, MP3 Video: WMV Document: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF * Depends on your handset model.

5.	I have a new handset now; how can I upgrade it to the 3g mail handset setting? Is it free of charge?
	You can download the 3g mail handset setting via www.three.com.hk/xseries > applications> 3g mail > OTA setting anytime. It's free of charge.

6.	How long does it take for 3g mail to pull my email to my handset?
	It can be done immediately.

1.	What is Orb?
	Orb is a personal PC on the move freeing you of the worry that your handset storage is eaten up by the huge load of multimedia files. Connected with your home PC, Orb encrypts your multimedia files and streams them onto your handset directly, so you no longer need to put up with the lengthy downloading process whenever you want to share your favorite images with others or open video and mp3 files. 2.	How to subscribe to the Orb service?
	Subscription is not required. To use the Orb service, you simply need to download the Orb software to your PC at www.three.com.hk/xseries > applications > Orb > choose "Download Orb". Please set up your account and enter relevant information (including login ID, password, email address and 3-3G phone number) during the installation process. When you have done so, a confirmation message will be sent to your handset and mailbox. You can use the Orb service immediately after completing the confirmation process.

3.	What is the charging policy of Orb?
	There are two service plans for you to choose: 3Home PC single-item monthly plan: the charge is based on data consumption. Data consumption will first be deducted from your basic monthly plan. You can also purchase the "EasyPlus Data Service Plan" at $28 (2MB) to $488 (unlimited), with thereafter usage to be charged based on the mobile data charging arrangement of the monthly service plan you have chosen. 3Home PC Concessionaire Package ($88) or 3 X-Series Concessionary Package ($138) offers you 500MB of data usage. The monthly charge will be waived during the promotional period which will last until 31 March).

4.	I have opened an Orb account but I haven't used it; will I be charged?
	No. Orb usage is charged based on actual data consumption, which is none in your case. Using Orb through PC is free of charge.

5.	Which handsets support Orb?

6.	What are the basic requirements for Orb installation?
	Basic Requirements: Handset: You must use a handset compatible with X-Series Orb PC: PC and software meeting the most basic requirements (see below), plus home broadband connection System Requirements: Your PC has to meet the following requirements: Windows XP (SP2) or version 2004/2005 Processor of AMD Athlon 3200 or above, or of 2.4Ghz Intel Pentium* IV or equivalent (using slower processor may result in unstable streaming) 512MB RAM Broadband Internet connection 100MB of free hard disk space

7.	What is the size of the Orb software downloaded to my PC?
	The size of the Orb software (version 02.00.0820) is about 12.8MB.

8.	Can I use Orb with my handset while roaming?
	Yes, you can, but the charge will be based on roaming data consumption. Please refer to our roaming data charging scheme for details.

9.	What is the maximum number of login ID I can set under the same Orb account?
	You can set no more than three login ID under each Orb account.

10.	I have activated the "auto login" function of my handset, but I have lost the handset. Does it mean that my Orb content can be accessed by others?
	For security sake, please visit the Orb website immediately to change your password if you have lost your handset.

11.	I used mobile A to do the subscription previously. Can I login to the same account using mobile B?
	Yes, you can, but the mobile data consumption will be charged to each registered mobile account independently.

12.	Will my Orb service be affected if I change my SIM card? Do I need to subscribe to the service again?
	Your Orb service will not be affected. You need simply provide your Orb login ID and password to use the service.

13.	What should I do if I have forgotten my password?
	You can choose "Forget my password" on the login page of the PC installed with Orb, and then follow the instructions to reset your password. Therefore, it is very important to confirm your email account during Orb installation.

14.	What should I do if I have forgotten my login ID?
	Find a PC installed with Orb, click the Orb icon at the bottom right corner of the screen, and choose "Configuration". Then you can see your Orb login ID.

15.	What is the function of "Player Setup" on the control panel?
	By choosing "System Setups Streaming Format" of Orb, the file will be played according to the player your handset has set up for that file. For example: Orb Flash Player Windows Media (.asx) Real Media (.ram/.rm) Quicktime (.3gp) Wlnamp (3.gp)

16.	What is the function of "Streaming Speed Setting" on the control panel?
	It will set the media file streaming speed of a PC installed with Orb according to the streaming speed setting of the handset. However, the setting (streaming speed) can be affected by the bandwidth available to the handset. You may try setting a lower streaming speed if your handset fails to stream media files from the PC, or carrying out a speed test to determine the bandwidth available.

17.	Does it mean that my home PC has to be turned on throughout the day if I want to use Orb via another PC or a handset?
	Yes.

1.	What should I do when error is seen during the installation of the Orb software?
	You should remove the Orb software and re-install it. You may also send email to Orb for enquiry.

2.	What should I do if I fail to stream video, music or webcam contents via my handset?
	Select other streaming formats through the "Setting > Streaming Format" option. If it still does not work, there are chances that the media player in your handset does not support Orb streaming.

3.	What should I do if video and webcam contents cannot be streamed smoothly via my handset?
	Maybe the bandwidth is unstable. You may try to use "Test Bandwidth" to optimize the bandwidth allocation.

4.	I can login to my Orb account via my PC, but why does the message "Login ID invalid" appear when I try to access that account through my handset?
	Please check your Orb ID and password via the Orb website with your verified email address.

5.	Do I need to use the same IP to access Orb via PC?
	Not necessary.

6.	Which file formats are compatible with Orb streaming via handsets?
	Login to your Orb account via your handset, and then choose the "Setting > Streaming Format" option to check the formats.

7.	How can I know that my TV Tuner is compatible with Orb?
	Please contact Orb for enquiry – www.orb.com.

8.	Why are there only audio but no video content when I access the video files of my home PC through my handset?
	In this case, please check the movie file format via the PC again. It may be the bandwidth issue (such as a movie is being played), so please use the "Test Bandwidth" option again to optimize the bandwidth allocation. Another possible reason is that the file format may be improper.

1.	What is the difference between Windows Live Messenger on 3 and online Windows Live Messenger messenger?
	Windows Live Messenger is a brand new JAVA Windows Live Messenger service for mobile phones and is exclusively available to 3 subscribers. You can chit chat with the contact persons in your PC and other 3G mobile phones and see who's online and offline.

2.	How will Windows Live Messenger charge?
	You can enjoy unlimited usage at $30/month (the mobile data charges are already included).

3.	How do I sign up for Windows Live Messenger?
	Log onto 3Grid via 3's 3G mobile phone and choose Windows Live Messenger. Then download the related software to an applicable mobile phone. However, to ensure access to Windows Live Messenger, remember to use a mobile phone which supports Windows Live Messenger and register with a Windows Live Messenger account.

4.	How can I cancel Windows Live Messenger?
	To cancel, log onto 3Grid > "Other website".

11.	Can Windows Live Messenger on 3 be accessed while roaming?
	Windows Live Messenger on 3 will be available in the regions which support GPRS roaming. And overseas roaming data charges will apply

12.	Can I log onto Windows Live Messenger with the same account via different mobile phones?
	Yes. However, the monthly fees will be charged separately according to each registered mobile phone account.

13.	Do I need to re-register for Windows Live Messenger if I change my SIM card?
	No re-registration is required. However, the phone number of the new SIM card must be the same as the one you use for Windows Live Messenger registration.

14.	Can I download Windows Live Messenger application to my mobile phone if I haven't registered for a Windows Live Messenger messenger account?
	Yes. However, the monthly fee will start to apply on the day you download the application. We therefore suggest that you create a Windows Live Messenger messenger account first.

1.	I have downloaded Windows Live Messenger application, but my mobile phone cannot open the application. Why?
	Go to 3Grid and enter "Supporting Mobile Phones and FAQ" under "Windows Live Messenger", "Log onto Mobile Phone Test" to check if your mobile phone supports Windows Live Messenger.

2.	I have chosen "Auto Log-in" but I'm still stuck in the log-in page? Any solution?
	Maybe it's because the Internet network is busy or your mobile phone doesn't support Windows Live Messenger. Please go to 3Grid, and enter "Supporting Mobile Phones and FAQ" under "Windows Live Messenger" to perform a mobile phone test.

3.	Why does my mobile phone display the wrong codes whenever I receive emoticons?
	Maybe your mobile phone doesn't support emoticons, or the emoticons are not default emoticons of Windows Live Messenger. Our upgraded Windows Live Messenger Mobile can support preset emoticons.


4.	Why can't I add the email addresses not preset by Windows Live Messenger messenger to "My contact person"?
	Upgraded Windows Live Messenger Mobile only supports the email addresses preset by Windows Live Messenger (e.g. hotmail.com/Windows Live Messenger.com/hotmail.co.uk/gmail.com).

5.	Why can't my friends receive the messages sent by me?
	They cannot receive your messages if they are not online, or their networks are busy or if their firewall blocks the messages sent by Windows Live Messenger.

1.	What is Yahoo! Go?
	With Yahoo! Go, you can carry your Yahoo! world around with you on your handset, wherever you are. That means you get Yahoo! Mail, Messenger, Contacts and Photos all wrapped into one. If you've already got a Yahoo! ID, you can use the same one on your handset, without having to lug a laptop. Contacts – All of your phone numbers are automatically synched, so you'll have all the same numbers on your phone and online. Photos – Take a picture with your camera handset, and it's automatically saved to Yahoo! Photos online. Messenger – Record instant voice messages, and send instant messages to your friends. Mail – You'll be told when new Yahoo! Mail arrives. You can also browse email, read them and reply.

2.	How to subscribe to the Yahoo! Go service?
	Subscription is not required. To use the service, you need simply go to 3Grid > X-Series >Yahoo! Go, choose "Download Applications" to download the Yahoo! Go application to your handset, open it, and then input your Yahoo! ID and password.

3.	What is the charging policy of Yahoo! Go?
	There are two service plans for you to choose: 3Home PC single-item monthly plan: the charge is based on data consumption Data consumption will first be deducted from your basic monthly plan. You can also purchase the "EasyPlus Data Service Plan" at $28 (2MB) to $488 (unlimited), with thereafter usage to be charged based on the mobile data charging arrangement of the monthly service plan you have chosen. 3Home PC Concessionary Package ($88) or 3 X-SeriesConcessionary Package ($138) offers you 500MB of data usage. The monthly charge will be waived during the promotional period, which will last until 31 March.

4.	How can I unsubscribe from the Yahoo! Go service and remove all downloaded applications?
	As this is only a downloaded application, you can simply follow these steps: Log out from Yahoo! Go. Choose the "Application" folder at "Menu". Select Yahoo! Go, and then delete it by choosing "Option" > "Delete" > "Yes" at the bottom left corner.

5.	Which handsets are compatible with Yahoo! Go?
	At present, only Nokia N73 is compatible with the Yahoo! Go service.

6.	Can I use Yahoo! Go with my handset while roaming?
	Yes, you can use Yahoo! Go while roaming overseas, and the charge will be based on roaming data consumption. Please refer to our roaming data charging scheme for details.

7.	I have activated the "auto login" function of my handset, but I have lost the handset. Does it mean that my Yahoo! Go content can be accessed by others?
	To log out from the Yahoo! Go application, simply select "Options" > "Exit" at the Yahoo! Go user interface. However, pleased be reminded that if you lose your handset, other people can activate Yahoo! Go to access your account. So we recommend that in case this happens, you should immediately go to www.yahoo.com.hk or www.yahoo.com to change your Yahoo! ID, and then report the loss of your handset and SIM card to our service hotline. For other personal information such as phonebook and photos, you lose them at your own risk if you lose your handset.

8.	I used mobile A to do the registration previously. Can I login to the same Yahoo account using mobile B?
	Yes, you can, but the mobile data consumption will be charged to each registered mobile account independently.

9.	Will my Yahoo! Go service be affected if I change my SIM card? Do I need to download the application again?
	Your Yahoo! Go service will not be affected. You also don't need to download the application again.

10.	When I send and receive Yahoo email via my handset, will my PC be synchronized?
	Yes, it will. You can check all the email sent from and received by Yahoo! Go by logging in to your Yahoo! Go account through the Internet. Synchronization will take some time, but it won't be too long.

11.	What are the differences between the handset version of Yahoo! Messenger and its PC version? Is synchronization possible?
	Their functions of the handset and PC versions are more or less the same. With the handset version of Yahoo! Messenger, you can change your status, add/delete contact, send individual or group messages and use emotion icons, etc. Just like other Yahoo! mobile services, synchronization will take some time, but it won't be too long.

12.	What are the differences between the handset version of Yahoo! Mail and its PC version? Is synchronization possible?
	Their basic email functions are the same. However, like other mobile email services, your ability to open and see an attachment depends on whether the format of that attachment is supported by your handset. Just like other Yahoo! mobile services, synchronization will take some time, but it won't be too long.

13.	What are the differences between the handset version of Yahoo! Phone Book, Calendar and Photo Album and their PC versions? Is synchronization possible?
	Yahoo! PhoneBook can help you upload and synchronize your handset phonebook with your Yahoo! web phonebook. If you choose to synchronize your phonebooks, your handset contact list will be merged with your Yahoo! web contact list. Just like other Yahoo! mobile services, synchronization will take some time, but it won't be too long.

	You can subscribe to the Skype via 3Grid > X-Series > Skype, & download the software by using a compatible handset, then open the Skype client in handset menu / application to use the service.

2.	Any data charge will be occurred if downloading the Skype?
	No, there is no extra data charges incurred for downloading Skype client

3.	What is the size of Skype’s software?
	The size of the Skype client software is around 1MB for Symbian OS & 190KB for Java OS

4.	Can I use Skype service abroad?
	Yes, Skype service can be used in all overseas 3 networks, while roaming data and voice charges will be applied accordingly (except 3 Skypephone Bundle Package subscriber). 3 Overseas Networks include Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Macau, Sweden, UK and Australia and 3Telstra Network (Australia).

5.	How can I apply Skype’s User ID?
	You can go to http://skype.hgcbroadband.com for registration or create the account via Skype after downloading it to your handset.

6.	What can I do if I lose Skype’s password?
	Please go to https://secure.skype.com/store/member/passwordreminder.html and apply for the password token, which will be sent to your registered email address immediately. Simply follow the instructions and your new password will be activated automatically.

7.	Do I need to subscribe Skype service again if I use the new SIM?
	The Skype service will not be affected after SIM replacement and hence, you don’t need to subscribe again. However, please ensure the mobile number of the new SIM is the same as the one used for Skype service subscription.

8.	Can I download Skype in the handset if I am not an existing Skype user?
	Yes, you can use the Skype’s mobile client to register for a User ID of Skype immediately and start downloading.

9.	Can I change the online status after logging in to Skype’s mobile client?
	Yes, please select [Option] and [Change Status] and change your settings in [Status].

10.	Do I need to subscribe Skype service again if already subscribed 3Home PC or X-Series Bundle Packs?
	No, it is not necessary. All 3Home PC or X-Series Bundle Pack users do not need to subscribe to the Skype service, as this service is included in the pack. Simply go to Planet3 -> X-Series -> Skype and download the Skype’s client in the supporting handset. Then you can go to “Menu” > “Application” and open “Skype” client to use the Skype service right away.

11.	Can I use Chit chat feature via Skype’s mobile client?
	No, the current version does not support Chit Chat feature.

12.	Can I make Skype call with 3HK rechargeable SIM card?
	No, Skype is not applicable to 3HK rechargeable SIM Card.

2.	Why can’t I login to Skype?
	Please ensure your password and Skype ID are correct. If you forget your password, please follow the above-mentioned instructions to create a new one (please go to www.Skype.com) or create a new Skype ID.

3.	Why is there the error message “Server failure Please exit and restart Skype”?
	Since you haven’t subscribed to Skype service, the system generates this message automatically. Please subscribe to the Skype service via 3Grid > X-Series > Skype

4.	Why can’t I receive the Skype calls from my friends?
	If you’re offline [Skype] or the voice line is busy [Phone], your friend may not reach you via Skype.

5.	Why can’t my friends receive my Skype calls?
	If your friends are offline [Skype] or the voice line is busy [Phone], they may not get receive your Skype call.

6.	My friend has logged in to Skype already but his status in my buddy list is “off-line”. Why?
	This happens when the server is busy, just like using Skype via PC. However, you can try to make a call via Skype (simply click his icon even when his status is offline). His status in your contact list willbe updated shortly.
